This website was originally developed in 2004 by a group of organisations in the UK who are involved in the care of people with MS, led by the Department of Health Medicines Partnership programme. They also had help from a number of patients with MS who have had to make this decision for themselves.
Since 1st April 2006, the site has been owned and managed by University College London NHS Trust, and updated by an Editorial Board chaired by Professor Alan Thompson of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, UCL NHS Trust, London.
It was fully revised and updated in 2009.

Moving forward, ownership of the website will be retained by University College London NHS Trust and changes to the site will only be implemented following approval from the team of scientific advisors.
